Zoom, HubSpot and Google bosses have been crowned 2020’s Best CEOs of large companies by the online workplace monitoring platform Comparably.
Eric Yuan, Founder and CEO of Zoom Video Communications, scooped number one spot for Best CEO of large companies for the second year in a row. He earned A+ (4.9 out of 5), scoring 98 out of 100.
Brian Halligan, CEO of Hubspot, came second. He also retained his number two ranking from 2019, scoring 93 out of 100. Google’s CEO Sundar Pichai came third, followed by Microsoft’s CEO Satya Nadella and Adobe’s Shantanu Narayen.
According to the workplace monitoring website, this year’s CEOs are raising the standards of leadership and have earned the respect of their employees in what’s been quite a turbulent year. The rankings were determined from a series of questions about the CEO, and based on anonymous ratings by employees over a 12-month period, benchmarked against 60,000 other companies by the workplace website.
In fact, all three companies Google, Zoom and HubSpot earned a place in all four of Comparably Awards categories as well as Best CEOs. They include Best Company Culture, Best Companies for Women and Best Companies for Diversity.
