The third annual Hispanic Leadership Summit will gather top Hispanic business leaders and community allies to establish development goals for the next decade, confirmed the organiser We Are All Human Foundation (WAAH).
The summit will use the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals as a framework to develop a shared strategic agenda to support Hispanic community advancement over the next 10 years. The nonprofit WAAH foundation dedicated to promoting diversity and inclusion, will host this annual event from 7-9 December 2020.
Hispanic leaders from various industries will unite at this event to create tangible goals to empower the Latino community, which has been disproportionately impacted by the pandemic. The summit will use a multi-stakeholder approach to agree, validate and prioritise the shared vision for the Hispanic community, confirmed the organiser.
AGENDA FOR COLLECTIVE ACTION
“This year has continued to confirm the pivotal role that the Hispanic community plays in the growth and rebuilding of this country,” stated Claudia Romo Edelman, Founder of We Are All Human. “This Hispanic Leadership Summit will be a moment to focus on how we can align on a shared agenda and take collective action to move the needle for the next 10 years.”
The summit aims to inform and equip delegates with the latest information about the Hispanic community. The Hispanic Star – a coalition of organisations that serves the Hispanic community – will also present findings from a new survey to provide insights on the perceptions of Hispanics in the workplace. The summit will also include panel conversations, keynote speakers, roundtable discussions and fireside chats.
The event’s sponsors include Beam Suntory, IBM, NRG, P&G, Yum! Brands, Bank of America, Bristol Myers Squibb, G6 Hospitality and Modelo. Click here for more information about the event.
