myGwork, the world’s largest LGBTQ+ talent and networking platform, has secured additional funding to accelerate its mission to create inclusive workplaces worldwide.

With this latest investment, myGwork’s total funding now exceeds £4 million over the past four years. This influx of capital will drive international expansion and bolster its e-learning platforms, recruitment solutions and employer branding services, equipping businesses with cutting-edge tools to foster truly inclusive workplaces. In addition to the funding, myGwork is strengthening its leadership team with key appointments, to support efforts to create safer, more inclusive professional spaces for LGBTQ+ professionals and allies globally.

At the helm of this investment round is seasoned entrepreneur Phil Hollingdale, an industry veteran with six successful tech startups under his belt. His latest venture, Cushon – a digital workplace wealth platform – was acquired by NatWest Group in June 2023. Hollingdale first invested in myGwork in July 2023, and along with several associates contributed over £1 million in growth capital to support myGwork’s continued expansion in the UK and overseas.

STRATEGIC SUPPORT FOR EXPANSION & INNOVATION

With over 35 years of experience, Hollingdale now steps into the role of Chairman, where he will provide strategic guidance, oversee governance, and support key business decisions to drive sustainable growth and innovation.

“I am excited to join myGwork at such a pivotal moment in its growth journey. Inclusive workplaces are essential for both business success and social progress, and myGwork is at the forefront of driving this change globally. With this latest investment, we are well-positioned to expand internationally, enhance our offerings, and empower even more businesses and professionals to build truly inclusive environments,” shared Hollingdale.

GROWING DEMAND FOR INCLUSIVE WORKPLACES

A key driver of myGwork’s success is its extensive network of 350+ inclusive employers offering thousands of job opportunities. Last year alone, myGwork attracted over 8.5 million job seekers looking for roles with companies committed to diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI).

Earlier this year, following the new US administration’s executive orders banning DEI initiatives in the federal government, myGwork experienced a 120% surge in traffic from US job seekers, highlighting the growing demand for inclusive workplaces. The award-winning platform also continues to gain momentum through its two flagship annual events:

  • WorkPride (June 16-20, 2025): The world’s largest five-day online conference dedicated to workplace inclusion, now open for registration.
  • WorkFair: A global virtual careers fair designed to connect LGBTQ+ students, graduates and allies with inclusive employers worldwide.

Both events attract thousands of attendees, further amplifying myGwork’s mission to drive workplace inclusivity on a global scale.

CHAMPIONING WORKPLACE INCLUSION

Celebrating a decade of championing workplace inclusion, myGwork’s latest funding round has also enabled the company to welcome three other key seasoned leaders to accelerate its next phase of growth, including Sarah Willcocks as Managing Director, Richard Egginton as Chief Technology Officer and Charlie Eva as Business Development Manager.

“This latest investment and the addition of exceptional leadership talent demonstrate myGwork’s resilience and continued success, even in the face of growing challenges to DEI efforts – particularly in the US. While some companies retreat from inclusion, many are doubling down, proving that workplace diversity is not just the right thing to do but also a key driver of business success,” stated Adrien & Pierre Gaubert, Co-founders of myGwork. “With Phil, Sarah, Richard and Charlie joining our existing team, we are well-positioned to accelerate growth, enhance our offerings and expand our global impact on workplace inclusion.”

A new survey reveals that 80% of LGBTQ+ students and graduates are more likely to accept a job offer if they see visible allies and LGBTQ+ role models in leadership positions.

Nearly half (44.6%) of LGBTQ+ professionals have experienced depression at some point in their lives, a ground-breaking global study carried out by myGwork has found.

Eight out of 10 Gen Zers are reluctant to join companies that have recently withdrawn support for the LGBTQ+ community.

myGwork has secured £1.6 million in the latest funding round led by 24Haymarket to grow its user base and continue with its international expansion plans.
