The 2024 Inclusive Awards, hosted by Inclusive Companies, has officially unveiled its finalists across eight diverse categories.
Now in its 10th year, the prestigious event celebrates the individuals, organisations, and initiatives that are leading the charge for equality, diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) across the UK. The winners will be revealed at a glittering awards ceremony on 28 November 2024, at the historic Midland Hotel, Manchester, where the highly coveted Lifetime Achievement Award will also be presented.
Returning to host this year’s event is journalist and TV presenter Sean Fletcher, who is passionate about championing inclusivity. Reflecting on his involvement, Sean shared: “Championing inclusivity is a cause close to my heart. Without workplaces and leaders prioritising diversity and believing in me when others didn’t, I wouldn’t be where I am today. It’s an honour to host the Inclusive Awards again and promote the importance of inclusivity across UK businesses.”
RECOGNISING DEI EXCELLENCE
An independent panel of experts evaluated the nominees, seeking not just policies and practices, but tangible proof of efforts to create lasting change in the workplace or community.
“Over the last decade, the Inclusive Awards has witnessed remarkable strides in DEI practices,” said Paul Sesay, CEO of Inclusive Companies. “Every year, I am humbled by the courageous individuals and dedicated teams who work tirelessly to put diversity and inclusion at the heart of everything they do. However, there’s still more work to be done.”
Sesay emphasised that showcasing the achievements of these finalists inspires others to embrace inclusivity and work toward equitable change.
