On International Women’s Day this year, four leading feminist charities will taking part in a chain of events across the UK, exploring their work to #BreakTheBias.
This online chain of event starts from 3pm on Tuesday 8th March and will last until 7pm, with each nation hosting its own session. The Fawcett Society will be joined by three incredible organisations across the nation:
- At 3pm: Join Northern Ireland Women’s European Platform.
- At 4pm: Join Fawcett to explore gender stereotypes in the world of sport. Our panel session will focus on the barriers women face when taking part in sports and how those hurdles start in childhood.
- At 5pm: Join the Women’s Equality Network in Wales in conversation with Chair of the Women & Equalities Committee, Caroline Nokes MP, to discuss diverse and equal representation.
- At 6pm: Join Engender from Scotland.
