The big tech firms dominate this year’s Fortune annual ranking of corporate reputation.
Apple, Amazon and Microsoft rank first, second and third, respectively, for the third consecutive year in 2022’s Word’s Most Admired Company ranking; based on its poll of some 3,700 corporate executives, directors and analysts. In fact, it’s Apple’s 15th straight year in the top number one spot. Pfizer, codeveloper of one of the most effective COVID-19 vaccines, shot to position four. The company on the front lines of the pandemic gained new respect; appearing on the list for the first time in 16 years.
Walt Disney is ranked fifth ahead of Berkshire Hathaway at number six; followed by tech firm Alphabet, Starbucks, Netflix and JPMorgan Chase.

Fortune’s annual World’s Most Admired Companies list with Korn Ferry, is compiled through a survey of approximately 15,000 senior executives, directors and analysts; who rated organisations in their own industry on nine criteria – from investment value to social responsibility – to determine the best-regarded companies. Those considered include the 1,000 largest US companies, ranked by revenue on its global 500 database with revenues of $10 billion or more.
OTHER TECH FIRMS

MOST ADMIRED COMPANY FOR 25 YEARS
Global talent solutions Robert Half is also listed as a Most Admired Company for 25 consecutive years; and is the only in its industry to achieve this distinction. “To be recognised as a ‘Most Admired Company’ for a quarter of a century is an incredible honour; and an achievement to celebrate,” stated Keith Waddell, President and Chief Executive Officer of Robert Half. “Receiving this recognition for 25 straight years; and to be the only company in our industry to ever do so, is extremely rewarding.
