The next virtual event from Voice at The Table will explore how to build an inclusive culture in the workplace.
In a live Q&A, BBC Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) Lead Sarah Fox will talk about how to build an inclusive culture on 27 September 2021 (1pm BST). During this 45-minute discussion, Fox will share what works for her to shift behaviours and develop a culture where everyone feels included. The conversation will cover how to foster a culture of inclusion; making inclusion more tangible; how long it took before the BBC started seeing changes; how the BBC measure results; ideas on how to persuade the sceptics; and the lessons learnt.
INCLUSION AT WORK
This free virtual event session is for those who:
- Worry about numbers that show that people from under-represented groups score lower on engagement surveys, and are more likely to leave than others.
- Feel frustrated that behaviours haven’t changed much after unconscious bias training.
- Are at a loss about possible action as ‘inclusive culture’ feels quite intangible.
- Are wondering what to do beyond unconscious bias training.
- Want to hear what experts do to meaningfully influence culture.
