The Virtual National Veterans Summit, organised by the Texas Diversity Council, is scheduled to take place on 25 May 2021.
This half-day event will provide veterans, companies and organisational leaders with the opportunity to come together in an educational forum. Attendees can expect to hear from fellow veterans and professional leaders while exploring topics related to best practices regarding veteran hiring, transitioning into a civilian workplace, and professional development opportunities.
Angela Salinas, Retired Major General from the US Marines and CEO of Girl Scouts of Southwest Texas, is the event’s keynote speaker. Panelists include KPMG’s Strategic Consultant Rob Barea; USAA’s SVP Millitary Affairs John Bird; United States Air Force’s Deputy Chief, Recruiting Operations, Angelo Haygood; Travel Treasure By TJ’s CEO TJ Haygood; Master Leadership Program of Greater San Antonio’s Executive Director Kathy MacNaughton; and Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center’s Director Wanda Dillard.
