This year, the Business Disability Forum’s Global Symposium will offer fresh perspectives on global disability inclusion.
Scheduled to take place between 19 and 23 April 2021, the week-long event of webinars, panel discussions and roundtables will discuss and debate new topics related to global disability inclusion.
The webinars will provide opportunities to learn about best practice approaches to collecting global employee disability data; and developing a global workplace adjustments process based on current research that has been conducted with multiple global organisations.
DISABILITY INCLUSION
Panel discussions will debate the most up-to-date topics around the future of global work and what the landscape looks like post-pandemic for disabled people. Delegates will also hear from experts about sustainability and the impact that our efforts to make the world a greener place will have on disabled people. Topics for discussion this year include:
- Workplace adjustments, a global challenge.
- Disability and data: Why, when and how to collect data about disabled colleagues.
- Employee disability networks around the world.
- Disability, diversity and inclusion: the global issues we cannot ignore.
- Disability and sustainability.
