race and wellbeing in the workplace

The first UK instalment of Facing History Now: Conversations on Equity and Justice series, on Tuesday 26th January, will examine race and wellbeing in the workplace.

It will explore how to tackle bias in the workplace and support the wellbeing of minority groups with Professor Binna Kandola OBE. As many organisations, including schools, grapple with this question, it is important to acknowledge and address the impact that discrimination and micro-incivilities have on minority groups in the workplace.

The virtual event will examine how being on the receiving end of racist behaviour – and feeling unable to voice concerns with confidence – affect the wellbeing of minority groups. It will also outline what we can do to ensure all employees feel included, supported and valued.
