Business in the Community has organised a webinar to address racism in the workplace on Monday 18th January 2021.
As part of its Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) series with Danske Bank, the webinar is aimed at D&I specialists, HR professionals and senior management teams. The virtual event will focus on how your organisation can address racism in the workplace and create a diverse and inclusive workplace.
According to several reports, there was an increase in racist attacks – both online and in person – as well as systemic racism in 2020. Additionally, many incidents go unreported.
Delegates will have the opportunity to hear from Lori Gatsi Barnett, an “inspirational” D&I campaigner; and explore best practice solutions on key D&I issues.
This webinar will focus on:

- Allyship – what is an ally and how to be one.
- What role can businesses play in tackling racism?
- How to address racism in the workplace.
