DIAL Global’s 2020 Virtual Summit promises to address what’s actually working in diversity and inclusion (D&I). Entitled A Call to Action & Championing Change Through Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging, the upcoming event is scheduled to take place on 24-25 September.
“People around the globe are demanding real change – not just rhetoric and empty talk about diversity and inclusion – but action. The time is now to rise and address this transformational moment in a real, tangible way,” said the organiser. The summit is the “first of its kind” to talk directly and honestly about the obvious question such as “how can we genuinely drive change to create more open, diverse and inclusive workplaces? And what is actual working?”
ACHIEVING REAL D&I CHANGE
The upcoming event features a “world-class line up” of speakers who share candid stories of how they have used their voices and positions to advance equality in their workplaces and personal lives. The speaker line-up includes CEOs/leaders from both the public and private sectors, as wells as global D&I professionals and champions. Delegates will learn “what’s really working to improve D&I and belonging” in their workplace,” added the organiser. They will also walk away with tips on “how to get comfortable feeling uncomfortable when speaking up and some key lessons about being courageous and advocating for change”.
