Intertech, Thoughtworks, Tech London Advocates and Sainsbury’s Tech have joined forces to organise a tech event later this month to discuss how LGBTQ+ allyship can help to create more inclusive workplaces.
The event, themed Making Inclusive Tech Workplaces: LGBTQ+ Allyship Across The Generation, is scheduled to take place in London on 26th November 2019. It will feature a panel of speakers from different backgrounds who will ‘share honest and open accounts’ of their personal journeys, say the organisers.
IT specialist, Christine Burns MBE, who has campaigned for a quarter of a century for the civil rights of transgender people, and written extensively about transgender history in Britain, is the keynote speaker for the evening.
