The Male Ally Summit 2019 is scheduled to take place on 5th November in New York, to help ‘drive intersectional gender equity in tech’.
Organised by Anita.B.org, the event aims to educate allies on how they can be ambassadors, mentors and sponsors, and drive 50/50 intersectional gender equity in tech by 2025. It also hopes to ‘empower allies with resources and tangible next steps’ to make their workplaces ‘welcoming to all’.
According to the organiser, the event will allow ambassadors, mentors, sponsors, champions and allies to network with peers and learn strategies to ensure all their team members ‘feel seen, heard and welcomed, to help achieve higher levels of engagement’.
