Legal Diversity Week, organised by the National Diversity Council, will be hosted in two separate US cities this autumn. The first event will be held from Tuesday 24th September to 27th Friday September 2019 in Dallas, and the second is scheduled to take place in Houston from Tuesday 29th October to Friday 1st November 2019.
Both events will bring together a diverse group of leaders within the legal field, such as attorneys, paralegals, litigation managers and judges, to celebrate and advance diversity in the legal field. It’s an opportunity for lawyers to “enhance their knowledge base on diversity and inclusion in the legal industry, and gain opportunities for networking with other like-minded professional,” confirmed the National Diversity Council.
“Firms will be better equipped to navigate the ever-changing landscape of diversity and inclusion, and cultivate workplaces that encourage it,” added the organiser. “This occasion will serve as a premier opportunity to recognise, support and celebrate strides towards a more diverse and inclusive legal field.”
