The Business Disability Forum has announced the line-up of key speakers for its upcoming conference (on Thursday 25thApril 2019), entitled ‘Disability Leading The Way’.
Confirmed speakers who will be attending the event include: Wendy Irwin, Head of Diversity & Equality at the Royal College of Nursing; Martyn Sibley, Writer and Author of ‘Everything is Possible’; Marianne Waite, Director of The Valuable 500 Campaign and Inclusive Design Consultant; Mark Lomas, Head of Equality, Diversity & Inclusion at HS2; Sara Marchant, Stakeholder Manager of Gatwick Airport; and Movell Dash, CR Technical Specialist/Corporate Responsibility/COOs Office, Financial Conduct Authority.
Dr Caroline Casey, who heads up the #Valuable campaign and the Valuable 500, launched at the World Economic Forum’s annual summit in Davos earlier this year, will also be attending as a panelist.
TEARING DOWN TABOOS
The event will feature a wide range of topics from ‘Tearing Down Taboos’ to ‘The Next Generation, Changemakers and Innovators’. According to the organisers, the conference will provide delegates with an opportunity “to learn from key individuals who have shown true leadership in effecting change within their organisations”.
