The Institute for Supply Management’s (ISM) 2019 Impact Through Diversity Conference will take place between 27th February-1st March in Houston, Texas.
The event will bring together professionals from wide-ranging backgrounds to encourage and grow diversity in the supply management field, says the Institute.
The event will comprise sessions on best-practices and cutting-edge topics specific to supply management. It will also offer advice to advance the careers of D&I professionals in supply management, as well as tips on how to help develop young, diverse talent in the field.
According to the Insititute, the keynote presentation from Mel Parker, President and Chief Executive Officer of Take the Limits Off, LLC, ‘will help any leader unleash the power, performance and potential of any team’. Parker will also provide best practices and tools that will allow leaders to juggle competing demands and confidently motivate their teams to achieve optimum results, it adds.
